Ford buys shares in Mazda; Ford sells shares in Mazda (yesterday's news).

BMW bought British automaker Rover; BMW sold British automaker Rover.

Daimler-Benz bought Chrysler; Daimler-Benz sold Chrysler.

Ford bought Jaguar; Ford sold Jaguar.

Wake up, people. Hello! Hello! Do you see a pattern here?

WHY WOULD SUPPOSEDLY INTELLIGENT EXECUTIVES MAKE SUCH MAJOR ACQUISITIONS ONLY TO SELL THEM A FEW YEARS LATER?
(Answer: Because they were just following orders)

  2. I worked in a business that was acquired by Ford back in 1999.
They came in and completely changed the business model, blew their balls off on spending, declared the business unprofitable, then sold off individual sites to (big surprise) a group of investors, some of whom had put the original deal together.
True story. Google Ford, Greenleaf, Dixon Thayer etc.

The big 3 Are BEGGING for money, I highly doubt they get it, do they deserve this bailout???? F$#k NO they dont, they couldnt even prosper when free money was available to everyone and anyone, now people actually think giving them money is going to change things for the better, GM has spent billions upon billion on restructuring and where has it taken them, NO WHERE. You have to be a fool to believe that if they get bailed out that they will be back on top again, they have tried and tried again. Im telling you, if they get any of this $25 Billion dollars there will be more problems down the line then if they just file for bankruptcy.
