Forced liquidation in silver

    You gonna buy size at $14 in coin form when you can buy bars at spot for $11?

    Good move.

    Just the metals pimps reaming the public, as they usually do.

    Same as RE Agents during the housing boom.

  3. a run like this shows up first in the bullion coins - give it a little time and if nothing changes those prices and shortages will have to bleed through into the larger bullion bars. of course investment purchases are just one part of the silver market, and the govt is doing a good job of trying to kill demand by no longer minting bullion coins. you can only hold back the flood for so long though - anyone waking up to the macroeconomic situation right now will be getting pretty nervous about their T bills and stock portfolio.

    Its coins that have the divergence. You can buy .999 silver shot at 99 cents an ounce over spot. 1000oz bars are available for only 59 cents over spot.
