  2. 1) I am looking at this through the lens of a microscope with a bias towards "answering" questions.
    2) You seem to be looking at this through the lens of a telescope with a bias towards "raising" questions. Astronomy bores me.

Not to be argumentative Nazzdack - but it's you who's raised the question - namely, "What conclusions can be drawn if you see big volume in an option?" And it's xflat and I who gave the answer - namely, "None."

  4. There is only one answer and its the same each time someone starts a thread like this one where they post what they believe is a large volume trade and thinks it has some clue as to where the market is going.

The bottom line is that a large trade such as the one noted in this thread gives you NO info other than something traded, none, zippo, the null set, zero.

You may choose to look at through and shade of rose colored glasses you like but that wont change the facts.

The question has been answered here many many many many times.

  5. 1) The Market Surveillance Department at the CBOE may be concerned.
    2) I wanted to focus on a "big" trade, by itself, unto itself, without attaching price-forecasting significance to it.

  6. I like the analogy of rose-colored glasses versus dark-colored glasses.
