    Really!

Wow, I own an Aeron and I think it is very similar.

    Go figure.

  3. I have been thinking of getting an aeron chair, what do these typically cost you guys? Are these prices from office designs any good?

    thanks

That's an interesting idea. How much does tempering help guard against breakage? Althought I don't seem to drop stuff around my chair now that I think about it.

  5. nitro,

Thanks for the heads up on the chair. I test drove an Aeron and then bought the knockoff from Office Depot and I find them both to be great chairs.

    You are welcome.

I agree with you 100% on the chair. I find that chairs, along with keyboards, are the most subjective thing and people need to try it out before buying.

I have an Aeron, but I think if I get any extra chairs, this one will be at the top of my list.

  7. Belated thanks to TGregg and others who suggested that the middle post of an Aeron might drag if using hardwood floor rollers on carpet, even with a (flexible) mat. I bought the larger diameter carpet rollers, and the problem is solved. (BTW, $80 plus shipping and tax. For five plastic wheels!)

Has anyone tried the alternative to the lumbar support? My lumbar support keeps breaking.

  9. That link didn't work, did you mean the "JOAKIM" chair - i.e. this one...

I never planned to buy one - just sat on one to chill for a bit - when an ex took me shopping there, and that was it. I had to have it. Fantastic chair... IMHO

    Looks sooo sexy too
