Being free means being led by the inside, Christians call it being led by the Spirit, by what's on the inside of you, and not by the flesh, or what's on the outside of you. As long as you hate controlling people, controlling drugs, etc, you are being led by the flesh, and you will have a very difficult time being free. There will be angst and and uncomfortableness that will drive you where you don't want to go. The key is to be aware of and be led by the inside, the spirit, and you will be at peace with whatever kind of adverse circumstances exist on the outside, and you will be free from so many of the things that bother you. This is what Christianity offers.
Love lets others do whatever they want to do, and that's why people suffer and die. If He didn't let people suffer and die, then you wouldn't be free to exercise your will, or write the things like you did above.
God is tremendously, overwhelmingly loving. People have a lot of little deals with the devil that they don't even recognize, they are every lie we have ever believed and most of them keep us from hearing from God. People that come to the realization that they can put every one of those lies on the Cross and have the devil's influence permanently removed from their life are doing so, the more lies [unbelief] you uncover and get rid of the closer to God you get... it's not complicated really, it can be summed up in a couple of simple diagrams for those that need that. Jesus said "the way is narrow and few that find it and fewer that enter in". It's dang few, take my word for it, we have prayer meetings where we put our unbeliefs, all that we can uncover [and the Holy Spirit helps us uncover them] on the cross and we get really silly and happy sometimes... in one of those meetings the question was asked "how many had been kicked out of a church", most of the hands went up.... after we enter in we are shunned by unbeliever and church people equally but we would die before recanting I'm almost certain.. I tried telling some church buddies about the prayer meetings and after awhile they were villifying me to my face... that is just the way it is, I can tell a murdering thug about the prayer meetings and he is interested and church people won't get off their duffs to check it out for themselves... go figure... People are waiting for God to do something for them and God is waiting for people to let him take their unbelief and sins on himself.. The whole book of Job is about nothing else really. At the very end Job says "Oh, wow, I get it, my righteousness is nothing compared to yours God, I'll have to get my righteousness from You, not from any religious ideas" [my paraphrase] Take a good listen to these Bible school people commenting on Job, they usually don't get it, they usually end up saying the same things that Job's pals said....
Thanx bro.... But regarding the prohibition enforcement goons, allow me to suggest an occasional channel change: Watch a little less 'cops' and a little more 'Training Day' or '16 Blocks' for a more realistic perspective on how the po-po truly operates.
Yes, that's where I was at two years ago... But now I've discovered a much better way: LDN, as detailed on my above mentioned website...
Rearden Metal is the second least of my elite. Whatsoever you say to the second least of my elite you say to me. You may say, "Jesus, Jesus, when did I say anything to you?". . I say unto you, when did you email me in jail? Jesus
