If not wearing a mask kills 100 more people each day in your state. It's worth it. If taking totally ineffective hydroxychloroquine for COVID kills a just a few hundred more people with heart conditions. It's worth it.
Nobody is stopping you right wingers from swallowing your miracle demon sperm and other shit down your throats, stop trying to pretend its the leftists that are stopping you morons when you have both federal and state power. All you do is whine and play victim, go swallow your demon sperm, nobody cares.
You mean this from 2019? More leftist propaganda.. Uganda records 1.4 million malaria cases since June By Eric Oteng with REUTERS Last updated: 15/08/2019 Uganda said on Wednesday it had recorded a 40% surge in the incidence of malaria, attributing the increase to a range of factors including a refugee influx, climate change and a decline in the use of protective nets.
Totally ineffective? Are you totally TDSsd brain-fried? Lol. Even total anti-Trumper journalist agrees that Hydroxychoroquine works. Please read and stop making a fool of yourself. Hydroxychloroquine: The Narrative That it Doesn’t Work is the Biggest Hoax in Recent Human History https://truthabouthcq.com/hcq-works/
Well I feel much better knowing Ben Carson, retired surgeon and religious nutcase is backing the new magic stuff someone near senior has a financial cut in. Not the position, straw man.
Totally ineffective? You apparently missed this morning's memo. By Jon Miltimore August 17, 2020 MN Governor Quietly Reverses Course on Hydroxychloroquine COMMENTARY (Aaron Lavinsky/Star Tribune via AP, Pool) This past week Minnesota became the second state to reject regulations that effectively ban the controversial drug hydroxychloroquine for use by COVID-19 patients. The decision, which comes two weeks after the Ohio Board of Pharmacy reversed an effective ban of its own, was rightfully praised by local health care advocates. “We are pleased that Governor [Tim] Walz lifted his March 27 Executive Order 20-23 restrictions on chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine,” said Twila Brase, president of Citizens’ Council for Health Freedom.
Hydoxychloroquine plus azithromycin kills 27% more people while having no benefit in treating COVID-19. Drug cocktail touted by Trump to treat coronavirus increases chance of death by 27%, study shows ‘No need for further studies’ into unproven Covid-19 treatment supported by US president, researchers say https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...in-trump-bolsonaro-deaths-study-a9690521.html A combination of drugs touted by US president Donald Trump as an “extremely successful” Covid-19 treatment increases the chances of death among patients by 27 per cent, a study has found. Hydoxychloroquine, an anti-malarial drug also promoted by Brazilian president Jair Bolsanaro, has no impact on coronavirus mortality rates, concluded French scientists. But when patients were treated with the drug as well as with the antibiotic azithromycin, which Mr Trump had also recommended, rate of death rose by more than a quarter, the study found. US government virus expert Dr Anthony Fauci has previously dismissed hydoxychloroquine as a potential coronavirus treatment, but Mr Trump has defied his own publish health officials to repeatedly defend its use. "Many doctors think it is extremely successful, the hydroxychloroquine coupled with the zinc and perhaps the azithromycin," the president said. But the researchers hope their meta-analysis, which incorporated data from more than 33,600 patients, will put any questions hydoxychloroquine’s efficacy to rest. “There is already a great number of studies that have evaluated hydroxychloroquine alone or in combination and it seems unlikely at this stage that any efficacy will ever emerge” wrote the study's authors in the journal Clinical Microbiology and Infection. “Our results suggest that there is no need for further studies evaluating these molecules”. The researchers,, including Thibault Fiolet of Paris's Centre for Research in Epidemiology and Population Health, assessed 29 studies - processing the data of 11,932 patients who were treated with hydroxychloroquine, 8,081 who received hydroxychloroquine with azithromycin, and 12,930 in a control group that received neither. Hydroxychloroquine is traditionally used to treat rheumatic diseases - those that impact the parts of the body including joints, muscles and bones - while azithromycin is deployed when patients require its antiviral or anti-inflammatory properties. Despite claims made by world leaders , the authors said the analysis “shows that hydroxychloroquine alone is not effective for the treatment of Covid-19 patients and that the combination of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin increases the risk of mortality". Previous studies found the use of both drugs together increases the chance of heart attacks, and French researchers also concluded such a course of medicine “might increase the risk of acute, life-threatening cardiovascular events". Hydroxychloroquine was initially among drugs to be trialled by the World Health Organisation as a potential tool in the battle against Covid-19, however the research was discontinued in July.
The above article represents a statistical analysis of a select few studies where the study selection criteria was not defined. From the “Study of studies”: The initial search yielded 839 articles, of which 29 articles met our inclusion criteria. All studies 81 except one were conducted on hospitalized patients and evaluated the effects of hydroxychloroquine 82 with or without azithromycin. Among the 29 articles, 3 were randomized controlled trials (RCT), one 83 was a non-randomized trial and 25 were observational studies, including 10 with a critical risk of bias 4 and 15 with a serious or moderate risk of bias. After excluding studies with critical risk of bias, the 85 meta-analysis included 11,932 participants for the hydroxychloroquine group, 8,081 for the 86 hydroxychloroquine with azithromycin group and 12,930 for the control group. Hydroxychloroquine 87 was not significantly associated with mortality: pooled Relative Risk RR=0.83 (95% CI: 0.65-1.06, 88 n=17 studies) for all studies and RR=1.09 (95% CI: 0.97-1.24, n=3 studies) for RCTs. 89 Hydroxychloroquine with azithromycin was associated with an increased mortality: RR=1.27 (95% 90 CI: 1.04-1.54, n=7 studies). We found similar results with a Bayesian meta-analysis...
