You're not going to learn trading from youtube videos. Useful youtube videos: watch clips of pros on Bloomberg/CNBC or interviews with legends. What I like to do is search "equity outlook *insert big investment bank and time period*" to get an idea of what the equity strategists at bulge brackets think. E.g. "Morgan Stanley equity outlook q2 2021"
don't need to avoid. Just watch the videos as a form of entertainment. Alternatively, watch it so that you can also be a trading Guru. Trading gurus don't have to prove that they are able to earn tons of money from trading. But they must have impressive communication skills. They must be able to sell the fridge to the Eskimo, snake oil and those things.
Even if you find a true guru among this bunch, they are not going to teach you everything. Think about it. You will be competing against him in the stockmarket. If he taught you everything he knew, any edge he had would be diluted because, you would pass the information to your friends and relatives? The real gurus are those in the Market Wizards book of Jack Schwager. They make hundreds of millions or even billions each and every year, running their hedge funds. Only two that offer some value from these group is Rayner Teo and Adam Khoo. If you watch their You Tube videos, if you are a newbie trader, you will atleast, learn some things to improve your trading.
I don't prefer trading under any guru or something and I just stay away from people like these. It is better to concentrate on building a strategy and than running after people. Even with the videos I limit myself to you only following a few reputed sources.
