Wow! That's a pretty crude analogy! So at the risk of sounding like a Sunday School teacher, allow me to reiterate the basic principles relative to the Trinity...and then I'll touch on the Second Coming. The Father creates the Son equal to Himself. The Son "leaves". The Holy Spirit is created to "save" the leaving Son. The Son is the Kingdom, and thinks to take the Kingdom with him, away from the Father. The Kingdom is perfect. There is no reason to leave it but to make another - different - kingdom. What is different from perfection? Another kingdom is going to be perfectly imperfect. In fact, it will be opposite. If the Son is the Kingdom, then another kingdom will be the Son opposite himself. The Son is "Christ"...so another kingdom is "anti-Christ". Shutting his mind to the Holy Spirit's truth, the Son proceeds to wander into a "far off land". It's actually a narrowing of awareness within his own mind, drilling deep into a world of fantasy. But however deep he goes, whereever he seems to go, whatever becomes of him, the Spirit is always with him...from the beginning till the end. The Son literally goes nowhere. It only seems so. The Son's journey does not begin with the big bang, but it is symbolized by it. He obliterates the memory of Home, and disperses himself to the "four winds", exchanging his eternity and oneness for time and space...changing himself into what he is not, including "man". He proceeds to "name" every"thing"...making it real. By now, he is "lost", and "blind" though he seems to have "eyes". But these eyes are not made for seeing anything but what is equally unreal. They see nothing but illusion...so they see nothing at all. He gives names to nothing, making them "something". This is the origin of the body...nothing made into something. Equiped with "arms", the body is made for battle. It carries out conflict in the Son's mind which attempts to hold opposites within it. Flesh is opposite Spirit, and never the twain shall meet. Common to both is mind. The mind of the Son naturally serves his Spirit. As it divorces from Spirit, its inventiveness gives rise to "flesh", which it then serves. "Flesh" is an alien level of mind...and mind-trick...which our Father never concieved of. It is literally an impossibility...a farce to be laughed at. But when taken seriously, it become serious indeed. "Man" is the symbol of a mind wandering into the confusion of multiplicity...away from oneness. "Man" is mind wandering away from full awareness to narrow-mindedness...into ignorance. "Man" is mind wandering away from certainty into uncertainty and doubt. This breeds emotions unkown in the Kingdom: guilt, fear. The problem is not with "man". Man is the symbol of a problem in the mind of the Son. "Man" cannot "sin". Man is the symbol of sin. Sin is a seriously insane notion made real and permanent. Insane notions are not real. It's insane to think the Son could or would leave the Kingdom and make something opposite. This is impossible, but sin seems to make it seem possible. Sin insists that, "in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth". Nothing could be further from the truth. But few things are insisted upon so vigorously. To insist that this world is "real" is sin because it is a seriously insane notion held dearly inside an inflexibly closed mind. This makes athiest, agnostic, and theist the "same". Therefore, he who is without sin, cast the first stone. All are idolators. The Holy Spirit "knocks" on the door of each closed mind, asking to enter and dine him. If you dine with the Holy Spirit, it is really a great feast. This is the "banquet" of which I spoke, to which all are invited. Run out of wine? No problem! The Holy Spirit is the Source of miracles. And behind every "problem" there is a miracle awaiting anyone with an open mind. Behold, the Spirit stands at the door and knocks. He teaches about the Kingdom to the lost Sons. He reminds them who they are. He heals their minds, and leads them home, out of this world. I, Jesus, invited the Holy Spirit to come and dine with me. As I learned of my Identity from Him, I spoke for Him, as Him. Therefore, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Any who would return to the Kingdom must come by "me". I am the "savior" of the world. I am the light of the world. I am sent to save the world. These are all the functions and attributes of the Holy Spirit. As each fulfills his special function within the Holy Spirits overall plan to salvage the Son's mind, he remembers his Identity. He comes to know his Self. In this way, he heals himSelf with the Truth about himSelf. The world of time is finished. Your experience of time ends when you come to know your Self. In keeping with the lesson of equality that Spirit teaches, each of us has an equal role to play in the plan of salvation. As each fulfills his part, the Son is saved from his own imaginings. Therefore, the salvation of the world depends on each and every lost Son who finds him Self through the Holy Spirit. This Easter, I wish you God-speed, hastening toward your release from the limitations of this world. This will be your resurrection. Jesus
but if thousands of experienced travelers had used the map to get to the destination and discovered that it is wrong and made public their findings why would you still have faith in it? there is a difference between blind faith and faith based on scientific evidence.
if you keep your superstitions in your churches we have no problem. if you come on a public forum and try to proclaim that you want to thank zues for zuesday you might get asked a few tough questions.
Thanks for your patience as together, we process this information methodically. Not picking on anybody. I do appreciate your Phd in physics and Sunday School teacher experience. I feel I can relate. Allow me to put Paul's idea within context...within the context of the Son's leaving and returning to the Kingdom. The Son leaves as "one mind", and morphs into "many" symbolized by "flesh". He returns to the Kingdom as "one". More than "one" will not fit the "narrow" gate into the Kingdom. "Many" will not fit through the "eye of the needle". Flesh will not return to the Kingdom because it does not come from the Kingdom. It cannot co-exist with Spirit. It symbolizes the opposite of Spirit. This poses a conundrum if in fact your true Identity is Spirit...and I assure you it is. Therefore, one must lay down false self-concepts by withdrawing faith in what is not real, and investing it instead in what is real: Mind and Spirit. The body is not real at all, and at no time does it ever truly exist. It is completely a time machine. And time, as I have mentioned before, is a vast illusion which can never circumvent eternity. So it does not exist. Beyond the machine is a glimpse of the light that represents the Son in this world. When this sight "comes", this is the "second coming" of the Son...for the seer. The "blind" cannot see the Son. But he is there, always, beyond the body. When the light is fully seen, the body disappears, for it has no part in the Son's Identity. The "second coming" is simply the arrival of common sense, apart from sincere sins insanly served. The "first coming" was the creation of the Son. Leaving the Kingdom, he seems to have destroyed himself. The "second coming" is the recreation of the Son out of a lost awareness of him. Rather, it is the re-appearance of what disappeared when the Son blinded himself within a world of time, space and material things. When the Son begins to reappear to the blinded, the world begins to fade away. As the Son wakes up from a deep sleep, the world he made disappears completely back to the nothingness from which it came. It shall "pass away". The world was made as an attack upon the Son. So it was made as an attack on God. The Son and his Truth is invulnerable. Therefore an attack will only blind the attackers, who "know not what they do". In this state, they cannot see the Son, who is always everywhere. If you open your mind, you will also open your eyes. For everything you see is seen through the filter of your own mind. The Son will come "on the clouds of heaven", means that if you look at your brother without judgment - without attack on his Identity - you can see great rays of light reaching up into the sky as if to heaven itself. Those who see only a body cannot see this awesome sight. So wonderful is this sight that you would be tempted to fall to your knees and worship your brother. And yet, he is your equal. The Son will come "soon", means anytime you want the Son to come, he will come. The fact of the matter is, those who do not see the Son do not want the Son to come yet. They do not yet want to "see". The Son is the Kingdom. Therefore the Kingdom is here, now, all around...only you do not see it. But those who are "looking up"...those who want to see will see...anytime they want to see. That could be tommorrow. It could be today! That is why "today is the day of salvation". Salvation is not dependant upon time. It depends on your willingness to return to the Kingdom. It depends on a choice for the truth. Therefore, believe it or not, the idea of a *future* heaven, *after* death is actually an ingenious mind-trick set up to forstall the coming of the Kingdom for you. It's a way of putting it off. That is why I say that death solves nothing because it is indecision. Heaven requires a decision. Only the "chosen" return to the Kingdom because only those who have decided to return...return! All are called. All will return, because all are the one Son...and he will return complete. But at any given moment in time, few are "chosen"...few are decided about it. Why are so few decided about it? Because it requires you come with empty hands and open minds. Empty hands means you've let go of everything in the world, holding it valueless. This is what it means to "sell everything you have and follow me". It means you've allowed yourself to understand that the world is nothing, is not real, and therefore has no value to the Son of God. So long as you hold one thing in the world of value, you hold it all within your experience. That is because nothing in the world is real...and nothing unreal can be taken to heaven. It remains within your experience because "thy will be done on heaven and earth", means that it is our Father's will that thy will be done in reality or within illusions. It's your choice, your will...your free-will..always, everywhere. That is His Will. But this world is not His Will. The Son's will is the same as the Father's. Therefore, the world is not ultimately the Son's will either. It represents an alien pseudo-will. Schizophrenia is its symbol. Two opposing will's within one mind represents a kind of sickness. That is why the world is "sick". The world seems to value blood. But blood cannot purchase the Kingdom. The Kingdom is the Son's rightful inheritance, and his inheritance can never be taken away, or lost, or sold. So it cannot be bought back. It's "cost" is everything that is nothing. The whole world is nothing, so the Kingdom will "cost" you the whole world. If the world is nothing, then the Kingdom will cost you nothing. The world is nothing. Therefore there is no sacrifice required. However, if you value the world as "something", then you will feel as if you are sacrificing something to get the Kingdom. With this mind-set, it will be impossible to enter the Kingdom because our Father knows nothing of sacrifice in a Kingdom built on abundance. Better to be merciful. The world symbolizes the unmerciful sacrifice of the Son's truth. Sacrifice will not buy it back. But mercy will reveal the truth to them that seek it. The second coming will not come unless you want it. It means you want your inheritance back. You cannot be "adopted" because you cannot be disinherited, and never were. The Father merely waits for your return. In the Kingdom, it is a continual feast. There is no condemnation upon the Son. As far as reality is concerned, this world never happened. I repeat, IT NEVER HAPPENED. This is the foundation for true forgiveness. Our Father does not forgive because he never condemned. But we have condemned ourselves and our brothers to hell. So it is up to us to forgive our brother to return to the Kingdom. If it never happened, why forgive? Forgiveness is the one illusion that ends all illusions forever. There is no true need to forgive what was never done. But while you believe this world is real, you have need to remember that nothing has happened. The Son cannot be harmed. You are the Son. So you cannot be harmed. The truth of this is experienced as you forgive. Sonship was given once. It cannot be given again, because God does not withdraw his gifts. And when he gives, he gives everything. That is why there is only equality in the Kingdom, and why there is no heirarchy. The world does not understand that giving is recieving. And it withholds and does not share. So it is not a place where love is allowed to be free. When the Son attempts to "gain the whole world", he loses sight of his soul. He also loses his freedom to freedoms opposite. Your freedom will be restored to you as you begin to understand that you are not just a "creature". You are the long lost Son of God...who is One, eternal, changless and perfect. Therefore "be ye perfect even as your Father in heaven is perfect". This means, simply, "know thy Self". Open the darkened enclosure of a privatized mind. Roll away the stone that blocks communication. This will be your resurrection. God-speed. Peace, Jesus
Scientific evidence that was told from word of mouth to you. sounds a lot like the bible. So why believe what the map says ? Because others told you what is written is true ? How is that any different than religion ? Science: The observation, identification, description, experimental investigation, and theoretical explanation of phenomena. Theoretical : Existing only in concept and not in reality: So why should one believe science and its theoretical explanations ?
if you dont believe science presents enough evidence to satisfy you why would you believe a book that presents no evidence at all?
