I'm surprised with the "benchmarks" they chose -- why not from cold boot to Firefox open? There is a human component in there, sure -- but that can be gotten around easily. But the breadth of hook-ups and communications hand-shaking that goes on from start to finish will be so different between the three OSs! (And then, let's throw a little Linux action in there! Whoa!)
Anyway, "disappointed" in that, and surprised. A great opportunity, short-changed.

Windows 7 4years almost, no real issues, run spybot occasionally but fine, rig must be 7 or 8 years old, old Core 2 Duo about £100 at the time, been over clocked since day 1 to.

Don't like 10, to annoying especially settings not that I've messed with my own pc settings in years.

8 is hateful, 4 or 5 years laptop using XP, my dev tool never goes on the internet so not an issue.

Still running with W XP 32 I installed in 2003. No problem upgrading from P4 to Corei7 machine as such a distance between the two architectures it ignored old drivers and installed all new drivers when I changed PC by doing a fersh install as upgrade on old HDD.

The genius of Gates was not swiping someone else's OS on the cheap and then charging the world for each install.

The genius was getting everything to rave about it when it actually (eventually) did what it was supposed to do.
