Thats what makes the argument so comical, If you ask liberals if they believe in open borders they always dodge the question, the intelligent ones know exactly what would happen if we opened the borders tommorrow, 300 million more people would be in our country by the end of the week. So then once rational people on both sides have established the fact that we cant have open borders, the next argument from liberals is "Your a nazi for believing less people should be able to come here per year then i do!!!!" The box that liberals have put themselves into on this one would be comical........ if any of them were capable of self inflection, and anyone at far left news sites like CNN ever called people on it. The left wing argument on immigration literally personifies everything that is wrong with identity politics, also gives a perfect depiction of the overall joke that the Democratic party has become.
Liberals don't want open boarders. Opposing a "giant beautiful wall" doesn't mean you want unrestricted immigration. I think immigration should be merit and morality based: i.e. People who can make America greater and refugees; not based on race or religion (a core view of the alt right).
The only evidence comes from alt right and conspiracy websites, which are known to create links to fit their agenda. Why aren't there any legitimate think tanks studying this? Even a reasonable conservative leaning one. If there is such a study I would take this claim seriously but I haven't seen one.
Anti-Immigration Conservatives Flip Out Over Trump-Dem Deal Reports “Trump just screwed his base.” Anti-immigration conservatives flipped out over news that President Donald Trump made a deal with Democratic leaders on immigration. Following dinner at the White House on Wednesday night, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) announced that Trump had agreed to legislation that would save the country’s 800,000 Dreamers from deportation. The U.S.-Mexico border wall― a central Trump campaign promise― was not part of this deal, they said.
This is really an absurd accusation when you think about it. The implication is that Soros would personally approve of "...thugs ... beat[ing] up anyone with a right-leaning opinion." Such a thing is antithetical to everything his open Society Foundation Stands for! I would expect this from others, but not from you.
