FOOD INC. What Government and Monopolies are doing to our Food???

  1. the universe is too complex and life is even more complex to have sprung up randomly.

Yes, an infinite number of monkeys banging away at an infinite number of typewriters for an infinite time may have a statistical possibility of writing Hamlet. But let's face it, we all know it won't happen. Same goes with creation.

Now we can argue about the purpose.

ever had an ant farm as a kid?

Whoever the creator is, He/She does not give a rats ass about the average human conditions. Humans and the universe is His/Her ant farm.

The fact that religious books were written, revised, and then revised again multiple times by groups and individuals, some of them functionally illiterate and with their own agendas, does not help alleviate the many logical fallacies incorporated into these books.

The Bible and the other religions try too hard to please a creator that can not be pleased. And that is where all the logical discombobulation comes into play.

And there IS a secret order to creation.

Creation is a game. There is a hidden order that will bend to your will if you know the secrets of the game.

You can choose to be the pawn, the spectator or the player. Following a religion blindly usually translates to you being the dumbed down Pawn with the players ( ie the church) taking you to the cleaners both mentally and financially.

As for whining about "un-healthy" foods.

What's stopping you people from farming your own back yards. Instead of planting useless deciduous trees, try growing productive fruit trees. You'll be surprised how much food can be grown inside the average sized back yard.

  3. Anything that lasts for more than a day or so, and anything in a package, box, aluminum wrapper, that lasts for days and weeks and even months - that's not food. That's something that the human body was not designed to consume and digest with any degree of health.

Americans eat more food-like edible substances than food. Cool whip, oleo, cookies, cakes, crackers, canned chemicals...that's not food.

There's a company called International Fragrance & Technology, Inc., and they're responsible for the smoke flavor in the Whopper, the fruit flavors in beverages and candy, the textures and flavors in ice cream, cakes and all sorts of crap - all chemicals.

They study how to train the human brain, especially beginning at early ages, to desire these flavor-manipulated, chemical infused food-like substances. They are as sophisticated in business, science and marketing as any company that's ever existed.

And they're literally creating the cravings that lead to obesity, cancer and diseases of all types by doping food.

  4. You natural born Americans have Never eaten real natural food

I am from EU and I can tell you that food in North America tastes like plastic.
Tomato for example was changed to have tougher skin so machines can collect it. We call it frankenfoods.

if you ever crack an egg in EU you will find that yolk looks completely different than in America
I won't explain, I'll let it be a surprise for you people.

Cow's milk and its products (cheese, yogurt, ice cream) are known and incredibly strong carcinogens, rGBH or not.

Read "The China Study" by T. Colin Campbell, professor of Nutritional Biochemistry at Cornell University. As a cancer survivor, this was the most powerful and influential book I've ever read.

Absolutely. The vast majority of Americans have been brainwashed since infancy to crave the processed, refined nutritional void we call "food".

"Where do you get your protein?" people always ask me when they find out I'm a pure vegetarian.

"Did you know broccoli has almost 50% more complete protein calorie-for-calorie than steak?" I tell them.

"What about osteoporosis?" they ask when they find out I consume no dairy products.

"Animal protein consumption causes osteoporosis." I tell them.

    They think I'm nuts.

It often takes 10 people including professionals and family members to deprogram someone who's been brainwashed by a cult.

What do you do when 98% of an entire population has been brainwashed by the food industry cult (which has totally infiltrated the all-knowing USDA and most frightening of all, our elementary schools)? Good luck!

False. I asked you a simple question regarding what is missing in the theory of evolution that requires a supreme being to complete it. That question was based your post declaring yourself a theistic evolutionist after stating that evolution as only a theory along with several examples of where science was either incomplete, or incorrect.

I really wanted, and still want, to know what you think is missing in the theory of evolution that requires a supreme being in order to make it complete.

Excuse me, but the existence of 5 mass extinction events are hardly unfounded. Their existence are part of the geologic and fossil record.

What I asked was not specific to what was in the fossil record. My question referred to the length of the fossil record and Man's appearance so long after it started.

You have yet to define theistic evolution, much less stated what your particular belief set is in relation to it.

Look, you're the one that raised the idea of theistic evolution, not me. If I was looking for an argument I would have attacked that comment outright.

But, I can hardly call this a debate yet since you've been unwilling to provide any details behind that declaration that I can use to further this discussion.

So far, all you've done is attack and condemn me for asking questions. That sort of behavior usually indicates someone who's beliefs are emotional derived with little, if any, reason to support them.

Now, prove me wrong and come back with a reasonable response to the subject at hand instead of another ad hominem attack.

  8. well sure. if that is what you call food but that is a lifestyle choice. if you eat preserved sweetened crap like that its not healthy for you.
when i talk of food being as healthy as ever i am talking about food in its natural state. fruits vegatables and grains. never in history has so much fresh produce been readily available at any time of year as now. if you are not eating healthy its your choice.

  9. Guys & Gals if you have 10 min at a time watch the sections of this newer documentary about Monsanto.

If it does not scare and enrage you well then I do not know what will.

In short: our way of life as we know it is doomed. They hate our freedoms and way of life. THEY are not cave dwellers in 3rd world countries who can have no effect on us. THEY are the corporations who own our govt and means of production.
