FNM FRE , seems those scummy shorts might have been the problem

  1. Right, so don't short, only buy. Especially piece of crap joke companies and financials. Don't short and capitalize on the fact that the execs and the powers that be have long set this up for design to fleece the idiots, just go along to get along.

Please don't short flytiger's piece of crap company, he needs to sell more worthless stock so that he can take more private jets & handkerchiefs to fly around the country and cry about the evil shortsellers.

  2. it's the government buying up shares, so fannie mae and freddie mac can issue more shares at a higher price. it's a win win situation, except for the shareholders (dilution) and it's half gov bailout half free market enterprise. except that the gov bailout side is hidden. the government won't have to embarrass themselves with a blunt government bailout.

  3. While allowing some slack for options MM's does undo some of the restrictions, its still better than nothing.

It remains to be seen if the mobsters will attempt yet another raid.

  4. The difference with professional shorts (good ones anyways), and the 'how can long ever be wrong' wankers, is that they make their money, take the profit, and move on. They know when the thing is done and it's time to move on. When there is a catalyst and it's time to cover, you cover. Unless of course you are a moron and over stay the trade. Sometimes the market ( and specifically stocks that have been sold down 60 , 70 80 + % ) actually move up hard off the bottom. Hmm imagine that!!!!!!
C'mon this shit's not rocket science, and most likely not the huge conspiriacy that you want everyone to believe it is either.

  5. You're right! It's not huge, it's bigger than huge. Think about the number of funds in the billions. When they get ahold of an idea, pay the vig, it has to work, work quickly and work huge.

I don't even see how you can question it. One example are the three affiants in the Gradiant / Rocker suit who testified under Federal oath. Couple that with the Milberg Weiss indictment. Then, go to Deepcapturethemovie.com, and see the Gradiant / Rocker timecard with Milberg Weiss on it so they could properly bill them for hours.

So, I quote you. This shit's not rocket science. You're absolutely correct.

Where are the regulators? There is an old saying. The cheapest thing you have to give away is your product. If you're in the bread business, and you want to promote, give away bread. Don't go buy coffee cups with your name on it. What is it Hedge Funds produce? Money. Guess what they do with it? One guy told me his boss was in DC, not lobbying, but, 'passing out money'. Yup, it's not rocket science.

  6. Government need to find a way to lend money at a reasonable rate for home buyers.

Without FNM and FRE, home loan would be at least 10% because every lenders have to recover their loss.

Basically without FNM and FRE, the US financial system and economy will collapse, with hundreds billions loss if not in trillions.
Why do we go to Mideast and spend hundreds billions of dollar over there anyway? What we get from that?

    Stability and Safety.

For the same reason, we need to support FNM and FRE as their current form.

We are going to smoke the shorts out of their caves.

  8. I understand perfectly all you 'there's no problem, stop being paranoid' geeks.

Your fear that YOUR market is owned and manipulated by forces you cant control, overwhelms your judgment and causes you to suffer bouts of denial

The mere thought that huge hedge funds conspired to assault the financial system for personal gain makes you fearful.

And Mozillo didn't know his co was headed for the toilet when he sold 500 million of stock at high prices. It came as a shock to him that his ponzi scheme ended.

So lets not question hedge funds and let's not indict Mozillo.

    lol
