Geez... I bought my berkey in the event we lose water during a distaster and the bottled stuff runs out before it gets back online. The closest river to me is down stream of an old Northrop Grumman plant...so you can imagine the contaminants. The berkey takes them all out, to acceptable levels anyways. I will trade somebody in CA a Berkey for a bale of humbolts finest anytime.
