Ahhh but see your doing stupid shit on the basis its above. But the facts are it's is highly contagious why UK 90%+ have already had it, but 0.07% which I expect to increase to 0.08% is hard!y highly deadly, Flu+ we ignore Flu deaths. And if you argue its not 90%+ then your back tracking on the highly contagious part, can't have it both ways.
That's a big part of the problem...the world is concentrating on the "elderly" when Covid-19 also attacks the following individuals just as deadly... Who is at risk of more severe disease or outcomes? People of any age with chronic medical conditions including: lung disease heart disease hypertension (high blood pressure) diabetes kidney disease liver disease dementia stroke People of any age who are immunocompromised, including those: with an underlying medical condition (e.g., cancer) taking medications that lower the immune system (e.g., chemotherapy) People living with obesity (BMI of 40 or higher). The above only list about 30% of those that have worst outcomes. There's a much bigger list but I can't find it but will list below what I can remember off the top of my head about people of any age: Asthma.... Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) ... Chronic Bronchitis.... Emphysema.... Anemia.... Cystic Fibrosis/Bronchiectasis.... Pleural Effusion Seriously, many people should look up how many people in the world have any of the above underlying medical conditions and how many are not above 40 years old. That's a lot of people that can be hospitalized or die die from Covid-19. Therefore, when they say any age...that includes young adults and teenagers. The first person I heard in South France that died from Covid-19 was a teenager (soccer player). The first person I heard in South Dakota that died from Covid-19 was a young school teacher. The first person I heard in Chicago that that died from Covid-19 was a 12 year old boy that had sleep apnea. The first teenager to die in Québec, Canada was a teenager (loved to play soccer) named Don Béni Kabangu Nsapu. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/quebec-covid-death-19-year-old-1.5694520 Recently, several children in primary school were infected and a few were hospitalized while one was serious enough to be in the ICU. All these kids, did not have any underlying medical condition. The infections were contact traced back to a parent that visited a Karaoke Bar. Parents were so angry, they threaten the Bar owner because he put money ahead of life and violated the health guidelines via going over capacity. The Mayor had enough of the idiots, shut the Bar down and put tighter restrictions on other businesses not respecting the Covid-19 guidelines including restaurants that had been going over capacity. My point, about 1/3 of the human population are walking around with an underlying medical condition that do not know they have while thinking they are healthy individuals. This is why I call Covid-19 a ninja because its looking for more than the elderly to take out...its looking for that other 1/3 of the human population. Do the math...what's 1/3 of the human population that could be assassinated by Covid-19 ??? By the way, when I say 1/3 of the human population...I'm talking about at least 3 - 5 underlying medical conditions for each persons. Lets look a little closer to the United States with the statistics of deaths in people under 65 years: However, the analysis noted that there's substantial variation in the distribution of coronavirus-related deaths by age group by state, with states in the South and along the Sunbelt reporting higher-than-average percentages of younger adults with the coronavirus dying. Overall, the District of Columbia and Texas had the highest percentages of coronavirus-related deaths among individuals under the age of 65, at 29% each. Other states with comparatively high shares of coronavirus-related deaths among individuals under the age of 65 included: New Mexico (27%); Arizona (26%); Mississippi (26%); California (24%); Nevada (24%); Alabama (23%); New York (23%); and Tennessee (23%). Meanwhile, Idaho and West Virginia each had zero deaths among individuals with the coronavirus who were younger than 65, while Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Oregon, and Rhode Island each had reported fewer than 10% of their total coronavirus-related deaths among individuals under the age of 65. Simply, I'm no longer worried about the elderly...they're much more careful now and governments are better prepare in taking care of them. It's everybody else that I worry about that have an underlying medical condition regardless if they know about it or don't know about it. I'll now mention Italy only because I recently talked to a roommate from college that's now President of one of the top pharmaceutical companies in Italy...he stated on the telephone that 12% of the hospitalized patients of Covid-19 are under 50. While he was talking, I did a little fact check and came across an article on CNBC... https://www.cnbc.com/2020/04/03/who...ng-people-are-dying-from-the-coronavirus.html As I've been stating since Day 1 here @ Elitetrader.com that this is a new disease. What they know today may be different than what they know tomorrow because each country has different genetics and more problems than others in specific underlying medical conditions. This is one of the reasons why I laugh when people keep bringing Sweden's statistics while they live in another country. If someone loves Sweden so much...go there and those people will most likely come back to Elitetrader.com to bitch & whine about Sweden's restrictions that I posted in my prior message post @ https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/flu-vs-covid.349161/page-6#post-5225518 (posted because of a specific person that continues posting misinformation / disinformation about Sweden). wrbtrader
Look who's calling the kettle black, being selfish not willing to help others in need despite the fact that others have sacrificed their youth and lives raising you. Like I said, I don't consider caring for my elderly parents as ruining my lives. And I don't consider my elderly parents as old useless version of myself, I consider them as who I have been and where I came from, part of my history that I am proud of and cherish. The fact that you would consider your own parents who have raised you as old useless version of yourself just shows you are too chicken s*** to face yourself. You need help. LOL No wonder you don't give a s*** about getting infected and dying from this pandemic it's because you don't have anything to look forward to nor anything in your history to speak of. That's very sad. You know nothing about the Swedish people or any Scandinavian people. They are a strong group of people but they are not heartless and selfish like you. Trust me, they wouldn't want you. Enjoy your riding of the mountain bike alone! LOL
I know I got sidetracked a bit responding to his comments about the elderly. I agree this disease affects all and this is why extra measures needs to be taken to have it under control. Guess some people are just not strong enough to handle what needs to be done. One week of watching Netflix and no restaurants and no bars and "OMG!! the horror, I can't stand it anymore, Wah, Wah...!" LOL
Know your just twisting shit around to be a dick, when I get old, ME, I don't want anyone wasting there lives looking after me, when my life is already over, not I don't look after them, see logic and reason is something you seriously lack like all the scared of a covid muppets, omg it might kill me, and ?? move on, it likely won't dicks!!
Disease affects all, more BULLSHIT, it effects the old and young people that do a lot of Coke and that's about it. Nothing has worked to control it, short of nobody allowed outside ever, there pretending they can control it, while the scaring the crap out of everyone, it's a pretence so they can screw you all over and take away all your jobs and small businesses so big business can hire you back on min wage. 9,000 doctors have signs petition in the UK because " Lockdowns don't save anybody and they kill many many more " this is the side your against, your against the 9,000 doctors because your incapable of thinking for yourself and you trust the politicians the the media which there job is to lie to you, you get that. Basically, how STUPID can 1 person / the entire group that believe this shit be FFS!! Shooting is too good for you, hopefully they round up all the gullible muppets that allowed the damage to be done and just let them starve to death, feel free to eat each other from a social distance ofcourse.
What I find most disingenuous is complaining about people who don't wear masks for Covid but ignore the fact that the flu has always been dangerous and 400,000 people die of smoking related deaths every year and no one cares. I guess only some lives matter and others don't. This is truly a stupid position.
Not going to get lockdowns and cripple the economy and force in the New World Order / facist police state with smoking deaths. Just watched a video on Twitter, 7 armed fire arms police sent to close a gym down and issues a £1000 fine, defo the start of the Facist police state. I do laugh at the people scared of the Virus but smoking, smoking only kills 5x's the people covid alledegely has this year, every year for the last 100years, but hey won't happen to me, puff puff!!
Lol read the lower bit, Sweden back they followed actual science, we followed the media and paid stooges and destroyed our economys and caused mental damage and many extra deaths.
