Dr. Brett Steenbarger says we experience flow when our skills are a match to the task at hand. Flow is a state of hyperfocus, during flow we are not cognizant of time and immersed in work. When too skilled we get bored, under skilled we get overwhelmed. He further says traders' biggest mistake is in regards to position sizing and thus traders get overwhelmed by their P&L.
