  1. So Tampa,

Which area would you recommend living in? (around a 60 mile radius around Tampa)

    Any suggestions??

We are afraid of South Florida getting too crowded.
Want to scare off the pale faces.:D

And one more thing to think about. Did you ever notice that places like "Pleasantville" usually overlook steel mills, or auto salvage yards? Or "Nicetown" have active chapters of the Klan, or Skinheads Inc.?

What's that tell you about "Clearwater"?

    I'm tellin' you for the last time - V E R M O N T.

I would recommend Charlotte County. It is right below Sarasota County. Prices are reasonable and not crowded lots of open lots....I was looking there for my next dockage when we move.

Look fella, you got to broaden your horizons - instead of a 60 mile radius, try 1,300 miles - and guess where that would put you?

(OK, I'll be serious - I think Sarasota is way cool - I'd live there myself, if things permitted - but be forewarned, there is some truth in everything I said about this state.)

NO WAY - the folks are in from Davenport, and I'm going to Vermont for some peace and quiet - and to get away from the snakes and sharks!!!

Tampa...you forgot to tell gotta trade that Sarasota has a very large gay community, lots of galleries, antique stores and great resturants. I like it too, but I like the wildness of Cabbage Key and Pine Island a lot more.

  9. I thought they were all in Key West??? Don't listen to Tampa ...Florida is the best....ask all the New Yorkers who have invaded here and screwed up the place :D .....Seriously though, Vermont is very nice....IF YOU ARE A SKIER ( like me) ....but you do tend to go , oh, about three to 4 months out of the year w/out seeing the sun...at lease that's what my sister-in-law complained about.
