  4. I grew up in Miami and lived there until I went to college in Denver. My parents still live there and I go back several times a year.

This post is so amusing as you try and one up each other by name dropping and talking like South Beach is Mecca.

I still remember when South Beach was heavens waiting room as old people just sat in lawn chairs in front of their buildings waiting to die. It wasn't that long ago.

Miami is a great place to live if you are into the lifestyle of showing off what you have while for the most part living above your means.

It is a great place to visit, for cultural, warmth and of course people watching.

Didn't this topic begin on the real estate cost in Miami, and now it has turned into a dick measuring contest.

Atleast it has been amusing to read.

  5. I'll be back in Miami in two weeks. If you people know JP, using his initials like you're best buddies with him, how sad. I'll let you know exactly when I'll be in the ODM office. You can come and holla at your boy , JP! and I 'll watch you get turned away in the reception area. Or better yet, I'll turn you away. LOL. What a pathetic joke you illegals are. Illegal and talking trash too. Hillarious.

  7. There is a constant flow of immigration into the U.S., and people in countries south of Florida are eyeing the big U.S cities. If only they could get there they would make money and be a part of the better life. That's the dream.
When they get here, legally or illegally, most make it to a better standard of living, but some do not.
Haitians are the most downtrodden of the lot going into south Florida. But, life for their offspring will be totally different from the parents. Colen Powell's parents migrated from Jamaica to the U.S. and lived in N.Y. Powell did well, and so have many of the offspring of immigrants.
Among the poor, there are those that bring the bad habits of their homeland with them, eg - the litter bugs, the noisy and the criminals. But what would America be without the immigrant. And what would America be like if it were 100% white - a frightening thought in it's abnormality.
The demographics of America is changing. The population breakout by race in Miami, N.Y. and L.A points the way to the future America. All the races are in America, and they will continue to come here.
The thing to do is to get yours and go live away from the litter bugs, the noisy and the violent.
I am planning to move from Philadelphia to south Florida. That will be my first time in south Florida, and when I get there I'll be looking for a spot where, if I forget to lock my door, I won't be shocked when I get up the next morning and find the door unlocked.
