Yes, clearly USC was the superior team. And clearly the Big Ten SO FAR has taken care of the rather underwhelming SEC: Penn State (with 4 losses) beats Tennessee rather easily. Where was that great Tennesse offense? And then Wisconsin beats Arkansas, despite gaining nothing on the ground. Big Ten to the SEC: You're overrated! Two down, one more to go.
yes easily, on a fumble recovery that would have given UT 16:10 lead, instead it went the other way... Michigan will be lucky to finish up in the top 10. Florida will find a way to take care of Ohio State.
Yes, and if Titanic hadn't hit the iceberg, it wouldn't have sunk. Shoulda, woulda, coulda...yada, yada, yada.
best team in Div I football...... why they are not playing for the national title is beyond me... I WANT A FREAKIN PLAYOFF SYSTEM ALREADY... wtf??
Boise State HAD a weak schedule, but did great against Oklahoma. Great game. I always like ballsy playcalling! Good for the Broncos. In the future they should toughen their schedule up so if they go undefeated again they can play in a national title game, or move to a BCS conference like the Pac-10.
I'm not saying UT should have won. But Penn State did not win easily. USC won easily by kicking Michigan's ass.
IMHO . . . Michigan's Carr got a shot of humility last night. Deserved but he won't utilize it to his benefit. USC showed that not only the team but Pete Carroll are class acts and will more than likely be rated #1 at the beginning of next years college football poll regardless of the BCS tile game. Ohio State and Florida should be a good game for a variety of reasons. Ohio State has a great team, Florida has a near great team. Tressel is a master stratigist and Urban Meyer is a great game-ist. Urban missed meeting Tressel on the field in BG by one year. It would have been fun since BG only lost by one touchdown in 2003. Next Monday will be a lot of fun to watch. Go Buckeyes!
By your standards....the BIG TEN is clearly very weak and anyone in it has a cake schedule. With that in mind.....wouldn't this bring you to the conclusion that Florida played absolutely NO ONE this year??!! Let's look at their "quality" wins. Tennessee by 1 pt! Who did Tennessee play in a bowl? Oh yeah, weak BIG TEN PENN STATE who killed them (and who Mich handled easily at Happy Valley). Next, they beat LSU (at home) by 13. Who has LSU beaten? Tennessee, who was beaten by a weak B10 team? Arkansas, who lost to 12-1 B10 Wisconsin? Notre Dame who was smoked at home by Michigan (game over before half)? Next, they beat Arkansas (at home) by 10. Again, lost to a weak B10 Wisconsin team. Strong SEC, weak B10? LOL I'm just sayin'....prepare yourself for at least a 21 pt blowout by OSU. This baby will be over by half. Holla
