Where I live most of drunk people that cause accidents are +40, the younger generation does in general not drink if they drive. We understood the problem and thought our children not to drink and drive. And with success. Our children can buy alcohol from the age of 16 I think.
The most important thing is our constitution. At the swearing for new recruits in the U.S. millitary it is (or was) required for recruits to uphold the U.S. constitution even ahead of consideration of their own family members. It was said if you did not agree to this, you would be put on a bus to home.
Good for you and your country. Germany, I presume? If so, how are you feeling about Merkel’s immigration policy?
Should you still accept laws made a few 100 years ago without any critical reflex? The guns laws date from before1800...if I am right. 100 years ago there was a law in my country that said: a man with a red flag should walk in front of each train to warn people for the danger.
Not German, but close. She is an idiot. She has mental problems caused by the fact that she was living in East Germany. She was thinking that all people should have the same opportunity she had, but forgot that all people are not like her and most have no education and don't speak the language. A lot of Germans don't like her at all. But she got elected, just like Trump.
Five people perished in fiery crash involving stolen vehicle . Where is the 'thoughts and prayers' from the NRA money taking Politicians. Several killed in fiery Long Island wreck that involved stolen car A fiery, four-vehicle crash involving a stolen car on Long Island left five people dead Wednesday, Suffolk County police said. Cops using OnStar were tracking the stolen car, a 2018 Chevy Camaro, which was speeding eastbound when it rear-ended a 2012 Mazda carrying four people and then hit a home-heating-oil truck at about 11:20 a.m. on Route 25 near Woodlot Road in Ridge, authorities said. The Mazda burst into flames, killing its four occupants, and struck a 1999 Infiniti, whose driver appeared not to be seriously injured, cops said. “This morning I came out to go shopping, and I turn the corner and there’s a car in flames right in front of me,” said Loretta Burns, 62, who lives on Woodlot Road. “I got out and ran over and one policeman was trying to open the door. The flames were just too much for him.”
Granted, laws that appear not to serve the public interest should be examined. The law in question would usually then be examined if an overwhelming number of people complained about it. The 2nd amendment of the U.S. Constitution has a large group of people in favor of eliminating or modifying it and another large group of people want it to remain as it is. There is not a mostly one-sided position here. In addition, many feel the ideas of our founding fathers generally outweigh the beliefs of the low-quality politicians that now run this country.
Okay, you are talking about private citizens defending against other private citizens. The second amendment was written (and your post implied) private citizens defending against a government. How many Jews were killed by civilians (Germans who became Nazis) carrying guns? How many blacks were killed in that same period by whites with guns?
Where are the thoughts and prayers from any politicians? Should we now provide thoughts and prayers for every person killed in any accident or illegal activity? What is wrong with you (this time)?
