floor trading for yourself vs day trading on computer?

    That pic was taken before they opened their trading floor.
    And their intention was not to launch a 'Pit' as we know it.
    But to allow certain types of trade that regulator wise, are hard to be done electonically.

    There are still a few pits trading on the floor. The SPX and VIX at the CBOE being the main ones. The people in there generally are in larger well capitalized groups.
