is there any recording of the pits with a view of the spooz?? I have never use a product like this and feel that it would take weeks of reviewing just to figure out what is happening not to mention learning who is doing what based on a action from a trader in the pit and identifying them through voice.
how is the squawk box being broadcasted? VOIP? Or is it broadcasted through a ham radio type of frequency? Or satellite? Maybe a person could log into the frequency through satellite and listen for free? Can we just buy our own subscription from the source(NYSE, CME) instead of going through a third party? I know the NYMEX has a squawk box now for oil traders which is available to the public by paid subscription.
www.tradersaudio.com is the one that takes care of the broadcasts on the nymex, although you have to subscribe through the nymex website. But it's owned by tradersaudio.com. It's broadcasted over the internet. Not by sattelite or radio. -SL
