  2. I'm also 43! So I'm interested in your progress here. If things go well, I too will have to figure out how to turn 325K to 800+K in a year. If I recall, didn't you start out with 50K after several months of research, planning and development? If so, you must not be happy with the 18K increase last year. Best of luck to you!

  3. I think you have me confused with someone else. My preparation time was much longer and I started with a six figure account. Also my profits from trading last year net of commissions were 318k not 18k as you suggested.

    Take care,

  4. Day 12

    No trades today. (unfortunately)

    For Monday 1/23

    No trades.

This journal has helped me refrain myself from jumping in, but trading has been really boring this year.

Yeah, seems like you are mostly Flat and Out of the market this year!

    Just kidding.

Good luck in your trading!

  7. I've been checking the past years trading frequency and so far this year's is the lowest in the past 10 years. I should have had at least 5 trading days by now but I've only had 2.

I have other models I've been tracking and just waiting for the right time to add one to my trading. It appears this is the time!

I'll be adding a swing trading model for the Russell 2000. It's been consistently profitable and I know the trading methodology is sound.

I'll post the trades for the Russell in close to realtime to give this journal something to watch during the trading day.

After the close I'll post the results of the model for this month (so far).

Hopefully this will get things moving toward my goal for the year.

  8. Here's the results of the ER2 with my money management applied so far this month. Is it any surprise I'd want to start using this model?

It's currently long so I'll have to wait until it goes flat before trading it.
