Flags, Wedges, Triangles, Pennants

  1. After reading about all of these, it seems like:

    Flags = Wedges

    Triangles = Pennants

    Is that true?

    Flags are typically continuation patterns, Wedges are typically reversal patterns.

    Triangles are typically larger patterns that often are tops and bottoms, when they are smaller, they tend to be continuation patterns, but have a more neutral bias, unless they are ascending or descending. Pennants are pretty much the same deal-they often are continuation patterns, but not as reliable as flags. They all have totally different shapes.
