Well duh... where's Captain Obvious. Nearly 7 in 10 Americans Say Insurers' Greed Played Role in UnitedHealthcare CEO Killing "Believing the health insurance industry is at least partly responsible for the murder of the UnitedHealthcare CEO is not some fringe position," wrote one journalist. https://www.commondreams.org/news/united-healthcare-ceo
Its not just greed ,they are killing people, with real world examples shown in Mr GWB's recent posts.killing is an appropriate response to killing.
It's a dangerous precedent in America's history. People feel they've been victimized by those with legal protection. People then use violence to punished those they feel they've been wrong by their actions, policies et cetera. Assassinations or the attempts on the life of the United States Presidents is a perfect example. The assassin feels the policies by one person is responsible for making their life or the life of someone they love...miserable, caused severe injury or death. The two attempts on President Trump's life is an example of that dangerous philosophy that killing is an appropriate response to killing. Mass shooters, work place shootings, school shootings, and so on are by people using violence to punish the system they feel have betrayed them. This is not a hero although many in society will view these people as a hero when they kill someone, try to cause them financial harm, try to destroy their career or seek some sort of retribution. Also, this dangerous precedent involves even the Supreme Court when they give immunity to Presidents. There are people out there who will use violence to target those that they feel are protected by the legal system no matter what wrong was done. Look at the recent results here in the United States after what the Supreme Court did. There was a spike in violence even on the life of a former U.S. President, spike in work place violence, spike in school shootings. It's not a coincidence how dangerous this has become in a country that protects law bidding American citizens who may one day...mentally snap. It's a flaw in the U.S. constitution...the right to bear arms because today someone can be a law bidding gun owner who follows the rules. Tomorrow something happens in their life and they then mentally snap...they want to use violence to seek retribution. It's a reality check for America that those with money, education, stability can become violent too and will go to great efforts to track down others they view as the problem...their enemy. 2nd Amendment - In summary, the right to bear arms generally refers to a person's right to possess weapons. A person does not need to join a militia to receive the Second Amendment's guarantees to keep and bear arms. Instead, it guarantees that people have a right to "possess and carry weapons in case of confrontation." I remember during the Pandemic at a outdoor Parent/Teacher meeting, a parent stood up and threaten violence against the school board or the school itself about being told if they're unwilling to mask their children...their children will not be allowed in school especially after the child refuses to wear the single packaged N95 masks the school gave freely to children at the door. He was cheered by other parents and I'm sure gained followers on social media. I then had a private unpleasant conversation with that parent after the meeting to warn him that some in the audience like me can easily view him as the enemy too because we have children at the school he just threatened to cause harm. The next day the Parent was arrested after the school board notified the police about his public threats. That arrest may have saved someone's life at the school and may have saved his life. That's why social media is so popular with some idiots that feel they can troll, harass, threaten others who do not share their opinion or policy...they often become bullies when unchecked especially those that hide behind an anonymous username. Those people will always have followers that cheer them on because those followers feel its appropriate behavior (response)... They feel they are the resistance. They're at War in their own twisted psychotic mind. These are people who can snap. This is why people like Luigi, the police will always check their online social media profiles because the seeds of their violent behavior is often planted there in their messages/replies to other online members before the day they snapped. P.S. One of the reasons why I moved abroad to another country to raise a family...that country has a much better healthcare system than the United States. It's not perfect but the healthcare system is far above the healthcare system in the United States except for the VA Healthcare that I consider to be equals to Canada and France. wrbtrader
Are you saying that the Democrats' healthcare solution, Obamacare, is a failure, and that it is the Republicans' responsibility to fix the Democrats' failure?
no...gop.spent a lot of money complaining how it is a failure yet offered nothing better to fix it.....is it a failure.or does it work? when you make up your mind let us know? It works? then stop bitching... It doesn't work? where was the fix when gop had all 3 segments of govt in control and trump ran on having an amazing fix, best fix, a fix people hVe never seen before? Mmmmkay
Yep, humans do this when hungry and often as a response to being caused pain. Put men into survival mode, traumatise them, and you reap what you sow.
Amercians die poorly on average, not being all that prepared for death, most have kept it at mental arms-length all their lives until it's bearing down. Too late to be cool. And of course the funeral business is often just another gouge. Not on the scale of medicine but not great. As a Big Lebowski fan, the Folgers would be satisfying. More than the whole life before is often spent on the last few months of life. To me this is undignified and foolishly taking from your family very often. The extraordinary measures, just because, culture is a part of fixing the system too.
im saying that the republicans spent time gutting Obamacare and so it is the worst of all systems and they couldn’t find a better solution despite it being a campaign promise in 2016.
it's not whether it happens....it is whether we celebrate it.. Did killing that CEO change health care in U.S.? Congress cannot step in and help because whiners cry about socialized medicine... sorry this is the system you all.votes for because dems tried to expand and was defeated. Gop complains will never harm big pharma and private healthcare... there you go...enjoy.
