I "fell" out of a second story window of a warehouse in Marseille and the ankle was impaled by a piece of rebar. I spent 4 months in rehab.
Well well, it seems that cold air does make a big difference. I am overheating due to the extra mass I'm carrying and staying that way, waking up at 4.20am is not at all pleasant in the relative cold though. It may not be actual heat but some biologic mechanism is not being reset. I guess I can do slushy ice baths and talk to the building manager about getting the sauna hooked up (new building) and I'll pay for an ice maker and a dunk pool. Pity the movie role is not a reboot of the Universal Soldier franchise In this part of the world, the extreme consistency of the weather makes people fragile I believe. Aircon causes everyone here sore throats and trips to Bogota which is much higher altitude are infamous for causing sore throats & colds. Medelln.. kind of perfect, the daily average low is the night temperature. In an apartment facing north so only morning sun, the building further regulates and it is maybe 19c-24c.
