He indicated there was no way to be sure but this was not a one or the other alone thing. I think all this extra exercise making me breathe like a winded horse has loaded my nasal cavity with crap and the earbuds attacked from the other side? I would use those sprays even without tinnitus as I really feel I'm getting more O2. My left nasal passage was blocking if I snorted air in hard, now it stays (nearly) open. I'll give it a few more days and report. He said two weeks though maybe a month for the full effect.
I don't know. Decongestant nasal sprays have a rebound effect. Perhaps you're using something different? I'm not familiar with these things.
They are prescription sprays, I'll PM photos of the boxes for your reference to see ingredients as you are a sensible chap who won't buy and drink them They puff more that spray, very small volume of liquid. I realised just now that this morning my left eye which had been very dry needed no drops! I went to an eye guy and a rheumatologist and they said I had psoriasis behind the eye. They gave me a drop and a gel. Said repeat for one year. I have that feeling the sinus inflammation was quietly there a long while.
Your doctor would obviously know better than I would, but if you have dry eyes, it might be worth your while to ask your eye doctor if you possibly have Meibomian gland dysfunction the next time you see him or her. Also, I've had eye irritations for some time before I realized I had ~mild sensitivity to foods I began to eat more regularly than in the past. In fact, my skin on my face became mildly irritated and I suppose it reached into the tissue at the eyes. It wasn't a bad or immediate reaction, so it took some time for me to isolate the problem. When I stopped eating those foods altogether, my skin cleared up and the eye irritation subsided. This may not be behind your situation, but it is something to keep in mind.
He did say it was a slight meibomian gland dysfunction. But I think it was caused by the sinus. Sometimes I can't believe how docs don't put things together. Hopefully I'm not premature in this but it all makes sense now.
I have recently developed tinnitus as well. My path of healing has led me to a combination of acupuncture and foul-tasting Chinese herbs. Their perspective is overworked kidneys and adrenals. It works when I consistently take the herbs if I wasn’t such a wussy about the taste. There are some other alternative modalities I’m exploring from red lasers, resolving childhood traumas and/or adding certain fats to the diet. Or I could stop being a wussy and keep getting stuck with needles and drink the Chinese herbs that work. As for the insomnia part, I used powered gaba dissolved in a glass of water. Works like a charm. I used to know the bio-chemistry about it but with google it’s gone the way of multiplication tables when calculators became popular.
What it sounds like in the morning after raving all-nite (in my youth) in front of the most advanced sound systems ever developed. More specifically, it's like someone turned on a high-frequency appliance. It's like a vacuous ringing, high pitched, can be drowned out with some white/pink noise. I hear it behind and off in the distance to the right. Get's louder and quieter at times. I can't tell if it's from increased sensitivity due to an increased meditation practice or something up with my physical health. I did engage in sculpture/construction a good portion of my life but I would wear ear protection to mitigate this possibility in my later years. I did not practice good sound protection though when I was raving. Ha! Thanks for your question, (so strange I usually reach for this resource for others, but forget about myself) Not everyone's cup of tea, but I prefer self-empowerment before giving my power over to others. It's a good starting place at least for me. Medical professionals are awesome, and my pov is that there is a deeper source/cause for all dis-ease. She doesn't have her book online anymore but the gist of it is here: http://alchemyofhealing.com/causes-of-symptoms-according-to-louise-hay/
I would suggest getting your sinus checked as I thought mine was very clear and now I'm sure it was not. I will be straightforward, I do a lot of hospice work and I have zero time or interest in books of that nature. I think that being happy and such does affect the immune system for the better and diet is a factor in this etc. but other notions of the 'real secret', not my thing. I know the science and practical outcomes of cancer too well at least. It just does not care what is going on in the conscious mind so much. But yours sounds like mine is now. Before when my ears where injured by a gun's shockwave it was deeper and sometimes a rough buzz in there as well that caused a tickle feeling. This is different so hopefully just the Eustachian tube/canal/sinus. Ok I have high pitch screech in my head still but I'm a bundle of energy this morning from breathing very well last night.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'd probably go to a Rolfer for my sinus. They stick their fingers up there to release the myofascia. It opened me up like you described for yourself, decades ago and it lasted a long time. Nasal sprays might be simpler but I dislike being on medication. It's cool. The idea of being responsible for one's own dis-ease is not everyone's cup of tea. It's a bit spot on for me, I can be pretty stubborn at times! As a random tangent, a study done in Brazil: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1808869415001639 I acknowledge you for your hospice work. Giving attention and care to those in transition is meaningful and soul-fulfilling. Thank you for being a high-quality human being. May your path to improved health be short, with ease and grace!
