First time I've ever cracked up laughing in the voting booth...

  1. Fight the future, your figures im sure are a bit skewed.
It looks like convenient accounting, to me.
But, you realise your basically saying, if your addicted to drugs, you either deserve to be, or that it should make no difference to the community, if your murdered?

Despite the fact investment in drug addiction treatment is a pittance of prohibition enforcement, and that the system actually benifits financially from these polices, while the community pays?

  2. What I'm wondering is, what are the anti-gunners afraid of? If they are afraid of being shot, to lower the already low risk, they should stay away from drug dealers.

Perhaps they should also not cheat on their spouses. Haven't seen any numbers on that. However, I've read some time ago that women prefer poisoning their husbands over any other method. Women apparently prefer a slow, cruel death for their husbands, but I suppose it is a slow, cruel death being married anyway without being poisoned. Women are sick, sick, sick.

  3. You're missing the point. By the time we abolish all taxes, disband the army and the police, who will be there to protect us? I will need my machine guns to protect my family from my neighbor's machine guns. It doesn't matter whether others will use their assault rifles for good or for bad. I will use them for my good, for sure! Governments and laws are for sissies.

  5. Wow James you have opened my eyes! I believe I will begin my own personal WMD programs to protect myself en masse against all these neighbors who are arming themselves with machine guns. I think it will be most effective if I obtain first strike capabilities and declare my intentions. Maybe once I become a nuclear power I can negotiate myself a sweet deal!

I'm afraid it does not support your argument when you use the typical, ridiculous caricature of your opponent. In fact, it works counter to your argument.

    But, please, continue ...

(I'm not even a gun owner, and support the existing laws, but listening to your type ridicule others moves me to their side. Just as it does when your type mocks and ridicules the religious ... But again, please continue.)

  9. Do you think anyone believes that "your type" are so easily "moved to their side?" Where are your moral convictions? Did they go out of the window when Foley resigned?

What does gun ownership has anything to do with religion? I don't remember the Bible saying anything about the guns. If you're such a believer in God, you should own swords, not guns. Guns are anti-Christian.

You swayed me to their side. Your ridiculous caricature of your opponent convinced me that your argument is based not on statistics but on the typical, hysterical, paranoid version of gun-owners often bandied about by liberals, and there is little evidence these gun-nuts you describe exist in reality.

Replace "gun-owners" with "christians" in the above sentence ... and its a good approximation of my response to liberals attack on the ten commandants in courtrooms, school prayer, christmas trees, etc ...

"your type", by the way, are liberal debaters that resort to such tactics ...
