  4. There are a very few legit firms down in FL. A lot of them are maggots. I think the guys on this post were pretty accurate in the firms they suggested. More and more companies are waking up and figuring out its cheaper to live and operate in places like FL than NY or Chicago.
I was going to recomend First NY Securities. They have a new office in Boca. I went on two interviews, one in FL the other in NYC, haven't heard from them in two months. I know it was taking some time to get the office open in FL but the fact they seemed to have left not only myself but a few other guys I know hanging in the wind kind of turned me off. I don't know if its arrogance or its just taking them a long time to get up and running.

  7. I'm sure its First NY's arrogant way of telling me that, but its kind of wierd with the return I've had and that I wasn't the only one they did that to.
Anyway, there's a lot of groups in London looking to back US traders. I've hooked up with one of those groups. They seem to have a better way of handing things then a lot of US groups right now.

How long have you been trading and what is your return ? I have had some experience dealing with First NY.

Were you mostly a day trader ?

  9. How consistent are your returns? They need to be consistent is key. Being able to bang out consistent returns year over year is critical.

  10. I could really care less about Fist NY at this point. I wouldn't want to deal with them after the experience I had.
My returns are consistent. I'm currently working with another group now.
