Firefox freezing problem vs. Internet Explorer security problems

My FF is much faster now. Cheers !

 

I have both the adblock and the flashblock. Hope this works. I sure dont want to see any more of these elitetrader ads floating across the screen.

 

Never had freezing problem with Firefox neither under Vista nor XP or Linux...

 

DO NOT USE FIREFOX, YOU WILL BE SORRY.

 

It's weird, my FF never freeze in XP or Vista. You may try "Adblock Plus" plug in.

 

I had similar problems with Firefox... worked great at first, but gradually deteriorated over time. I switched over to Opera and have had no issues since.

 

How do you like Opera .... I tried it out but have grown too comfortable with FF to change... probably too lazy is a better description.....

 

I used to get the video freezing bug in firefox but after running ccleaner it has been fine.

 

Ive run CC along with a registry cleaner and have been stymied but I'll give it another go....its quite possible that I missed something ......

 

Have you given Google's CHROME a whirl?

My brother uses it, and it is pretty friggin' fast.

I don't plan on dropping Firefox anytime soon, but if I were, I'd give a chance.
