The Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station built from 1980-1986 by the former Soviet Union. It was not even Ukrainian. But it just happened that it was built within Ukraine's current border. The Soviet or the Russians built it. They know the best.
You think sanctions are going away if Putin takes Ukraine and remains in power? You believe current and possible future sanction will not affect the Russian economy for a long time? You believe the Russian people don't really care about the quality of life they've recently been experiencing? That Putin's leadership will not be affected by increasing Russian protests? You believe Russian citizens will always be kept in the dark with what is happening in Ukraine now? How many Ukrainians currently live in Russia again? You think NATO will not rearm and take substantial steps towards energy and mineral independence, devaluing Russia's position as a important global producer and military power? You think Ukraine will be valuable to Russia destroyed with generations of Ukrainians engaging in partisan activities within Ukraine as well as Russia? Putin screwed the pooch with his lastest invasion of Ukraine. The question is, how much pain is he and ultimately the Russian people are willing to take? Even Hitler did not use chemical weapons, by the way. Can you say the same about Putin?
