Ameritrade is .65 all in..Its IB who seems to be non negotiable. More often than not I am paying 1.50 per contract over at IB
Hi everyone, I'm also with IB and paying the same high option commissions. I want to switch to TD Ameritrade but I find Thinkorswim's option order entry way too slow. I need to click several times in different places. Is there a faster way of entering option orders? How did you adjust your settings to make it more user friendly? Thanks
I'm demoing TOS and found the interface a bit clunky compared to IB..That Control R method is kind of a pain in the ass..
You gotta lose brutha...then you can win...it will all come together...losing goes deep in your soul while you are living your life. You learn how to deal with your pain..which is where the Bread & Butter lies. Your "walk" in trading is where you learn and no one can teach you that. The hardest thing for me personally is to recognize trending days from choppy days...most of the days are choppy. When you can grab that trend and win back those losses you got with chop ... are the golden times. Hopefully the choppy days do not rape you and give you some bumps that get you to BE or a small profit after commish while you wait to get on the right side of an explosive trend. Having enough money in your trading account and the correct instrument to allow one to "scale" is key. The Micro Index Futures has opened up a whole new world to intraday traders with little capital.
