I am fairly new to trading. My friend told me today that AVR did about 68 million shares volume. But I looked at many top volume lists, including Yahoo most actives and eSignal top volume and it wasn't on the list. However, if you just typed in the stock in Yahoo, it does say it did about 68 million shares. This would have made it the #1 stock by volume on AMEX today. The same goes for JDSU, it was in the top 10 volume by just looking at its volume, but it wasn't on any of popular top volume lists. I was wondering why these and other stocks are volume leaders but not listed. Also I was wondering if there are any lists that show top stocks by volume that includes all these omitted stocks.
