Can someone recommend a tool (hopefully free) that I can enter a stock symbol and it will generate a list of Mutual Funds and ETF's that are currently holding that stock? I think I've seen this before but can't remember where I found it.
You have but to ask, and it shall be yours. http://www.apsquared.net/blog/find-etfs-based-on-stock-holding/
the old fashioned way is through 13Fs at SEC.GOV - view company filings - its more for hedge fund holdings. or look in yahoo finance - view holdings. It tells you how much are ownded by certain firms, but it can be off by a QTR or more.
Should be exactly what you need: http://www.nasdaq.com/asp/holdings.asp?symbol=INTC&symbol=TSM&selected=INTC
