Greatest challenge Ive had with finding stocks to swing is to have them actually move. Since anything can happen overnight, I like to use calls or puts to limit risk, but the outcome is not just up and down, sometimes they do nothing and burn your premium. If you skip the options then risk can't be quantified by buying or shorting the shares.

    A great challenge indeed.

  2. I used to use the TC2000 product to screen for high momentum stocks with high volatility that also had good liquidity. Then you just wait for a good set up. Of course, nothing is ever infallible.
