  1. Some punk had my thread deleted at the expene of others. The purpose off the thread is to keep the unknowing from losing most of what they have left, who ever made a complaint was contrite and subjuective and selfish. Let's resume a civil discourse shall we?

    Final Warning./

I spent alot more of my time trying to wake folk up, it is obvious that most do not deserve it. Heed the warning if you have any intelligence.

  2. Feel free to do so without putting up links to your site(s) and beginning a flame war (or responding to those who flame you). PM me if someone posts in your thread something that is insulting and/or profane.

    Thank you.

  3. well, today's action so far, INDU down over 200 is a indication that "All is not as it seems".

Gdp was joke at 3.5, take away gov. spending and you may be closer to 1.5. Going forward, maybe 1.5 to 2. or so into the next few quarters.

Unemployment is high and will remain high. Stimulis Job creation numbers were not what they seemed. BUSTED by the math.

No reason for the market to be at these levels, other than a V recovery which isn't happening.

Commerical RE debt is about to be the next shoe to drop. It will take about a 1 if a little longer for the Band Commerical Loans to work their way to the surfice...but it's started.

I see (ZERO) greenshots. In fact, plenty of Upward Movement back in 1929, all in all, two years after the crash, the stockmarket rallied for the full two years, the pundits called the "Recession" all be dead. Then came the Great Depression.

    Interesting huh?

Thanks for sharing this. It is very interesting and I agree with about 98% of it. I am unsure whether a wave e is necessary, but I can see where it can happen. Everybody is loading up on shorts because of the gap fill, and there might be a run-up to shake them out. The Oct 21 top was just "too easy".

Take away gov spending and we were likely at 0%. Cash for clunkers accounted for 1.66 and the housing credit another 0.5 leaving the rest to be accounted for by the massive stimulus, minimal if any organic growth.

Sox fell out of bed today, transports flashing major sell divergence signal, June highs here we come. Good luck all.

  6. Not if you take into account that the top was Oct 15th.

I've scoured the internet country-side for references, such as newspaper articles, editorials, etc. during this period, to read what the "pundits" said. Can you recommend anything?

Also, for those who discount TA, and claim that TA only works because of self-fulfilling prophecy, there are some great Fibonacci studies from the 1929-1939 time period. I'm plotting the Dow on the weekly chart.

    1) The crash of 1929 retraced the 1924-1929 rally by 61.8%.

    2) The rebound rally of 1929-1930 retraced the crash by 50%.

    3) The 138.20% Fibonacci projection, using the 1929 top, the bottom of the crash, and the 1930 rebound top, projected a downside target of around Dow 49, which is where it bottomed in 1932.

    4) The top in 1937 retraced the 1930 - 1932 bear market by 61.8%.

    5) The 1938 bottom retraced the 1932 - 1937 recovery stated in #4 also by 61.8%.

I'm sure I can go on, but those are the highlights.

TA rocks! At least Fibonacci rocks!
