Does anyone have any knowledge /idea of which financial modeling platforms are used by institutions/Banks/Hedgefunds? I'm sure some small funds/CTA's may use Tradestation but I'm wondering what's considered the next level? I can imagine they use Matlab, Mathematica but what else is out there?
