    @VicBee my posts were not about religion but about the mathematics of probability, statistics, expected returns and utility functions. Those were alien in the 17th century, Pascal's time and he used God as an example of calculating expected returns.

    It is still very valid for those who understood the concept, Taleb's black swan is basically along the same line of reasoning, so are stories of winning the lottery (https://highline.huffingtonpost.com/articles/en/lotto-winners/)

    Those of us who practice long single leg options are applying the same concepts.

    Maybe there is a religious play here but that is actually not my intend.
