financial backing

Any ideas whom to contact to try and obtain financial backing for a trading idea? i.e. firms, people, etc?

I too am looking for backing for my trading. Recent divorce, ex-wife destroyed credit. No cash or credit remaining... only debt. I'd prefer somone in my local area, whom I can meet with. I have proven papertrading history I can reveal past performance.
