Financial Advisor, good career?

Somebody I know was trying to get me interested in being a FA for a big firm. Just interested to here the pros and cons from anyone who has gone this route before. Thanks.

 

What does that mean?

 

Do you get a newspaper? Look at the business section. Tomorrow will do. Then, you tell me.

 

Yeah, I know that is a common job title, but I meant with Merrill, Morgan, etc. Just curious if anyone ever went this route.

 

Wasn't Bob Polski a FA?

 

You will have more success selling Chicklet packets down on your town's square.

 

Polski was a top producer at Charles Joseph Morgan Edwards & Rabinowitz.

Polski could read upside down and point. He mastered the "double fist in the other palm close" that led him to single handily place an entire IPO, by himself!!! Polski could bring you public, and trade both sides of the market.

On his lunch hour, he wrote prospectuses.
