Thank You Xela . Yes the PT is lower but there is the added pressure of staying above break-even after 10 trading days. I'm on day 12 but now need to ease my way to that $500...haven't got much to work with but I like my chances all the same
Just letting you know that the cake was early... So don't expect slaps on your shoulder or attaboys....
I'll do you the favour of informing you of where you've gone wrong, despite your foul mouth ! Yes, many profitable traders failed Combines....BEFORE THE RULES CHANGED! At one stage, you had to have the following: 1) Avg. Win greater than Avg. Loser. 2) Avg. time in winners greater than Avg. time in losers (LMAO!) 3) Win Rate equal to or greater than 45% 4) 45% or more winning days....all of these had to be achieved, along with the Profit Target, within 20 trading days.... ....OF COURSE loads of profitable traders would fail that Now, you literally have all the time you want and you only have to do 3 main things: 1) Hit the PT. 2) Do so without breaching your daily draw-down limit and 3) Do so without breaching your overall draw-down limit. If Big Mike or any other trader can't make $1500 over any period of time without losing more than $500 in a day or drawing down $1500 overall, wouldn't you say that that trader is unprofitable?? I would. PS Re: My first post- anymore foul-mouthed, hostile comments and I'll just ignore/block you. I'm here to discuss like an adult. Thanks!
I don't need slaps on my shoulder or attaboys...I came here to share. Besides, there is nothing wrong with celebrating the smaller victories on the way to bigger goals. That's what got me this far in the first place. Not by focusing on the negative.
Depends on the market conditions and their trading style. The past 2 weeks were almost perfect trading conditions, you could've made $10k plus trading a couple of ES contracts between 09/09-13/09 Well done though, I hope it continues for you.
I guess anything is possible. I just keep folding when things aren't working and pushing it when they are. Thanks for the well-wishes!
Well, it is just good to keep it real. We were happy when my wife had a (seemingly) good job interview, and then they never called back. So there is that. Now if you were celebrating the passing of the FTP, that would be at least a giant step closer to the goal, but don't forget the goal is getting a paycheck, not passing tests. So if this thread survives 3 more weeks and finally you will start to earn money from them, then I will congratulate you. But too many before you been here before, so I am not holding my breath...
Kids, you acts here like we haven't had at least 2 dozen guys like the OP here running the congratulatory circles after a passed combine just to never hear from them again. Check out the TST thread, what happened to the last guy? No post from him either. I will buy the beer if the OP get's a check from them. Until that, let's keep it real, shall we?
