Should Obama focus purely on jobs for the next six months?

obama is merely a socialist trying to gain control of America. If people were self reliant then it would slow his cause. obama does not want the creation of private sector jobs. Most Americans are now starting to see this. At least I hope so.

  3. Look at a post office in the suburbs. Think of the customer traffic a PO generates, where do they locate? In a stand alone building usually next to nothing. God forbid, anyone benefits by locating a business next to a post office with a good customer base to begin with.

Where are corporate parks, at the end of a miles long feeder route where no one ventures in or out except for the employees who have to eat in the co cafeteria. A customer base gone to waste.

These two examples are by design. A country built on the auto business(GM influence primarily) and designed by transportation engineers.

U.S. States Lead the World in High Corporate Taxes

by Scott A. Hodge, from The Tax Foundation

    Fiscal Fact No. 119

America's political leadership is finally waking up to the fact that the tax rates businesses face in the U.S. are way out of step with our major economic competitors.... Currently, the average combined federal and state corporate tax rate in the U.S. is 39.3 percent, second among OECD countries to Japan's combined rate of 39.5 percent...."

And before you can conclude anything about where American taxpayers rank, you first have to discover whether those compared ALSO have to pay our, "State income tax, payroll tax, property tax, sales tax, use taxes..."

The "Total Tax" take for certain US Taxpayers can exceed 70% right now... before the proposed Obama/Pelosi tax increases. I doubt that puts us in the "low" range.
