Yes, the rules are well known. They are in my book as well. It is very clear, however, even after all of these years Turtle myths persist. For example, not all Turtles were successful. There was clearly far more to it than the "rules". In fact, the Turtle who constructed that PDF went on to see his firm end up in implosion with a permanent CFTC ban.
Anthony Garner wants to demonstrate some expertise or opinion. He has written a book in the hopes of letting people know of his work. I think that is great. I hope it does well. In terms of the debate that he is having with himself about "original turtle rules" he is more than welcome to have that too. Do I have an opinion about the Turtles, their rules, their psychology, where they are now, and what really happened beyond the myths that people like Garner have spent years helping to perpetuate? Yes, I do have an opinion. 80,000 words to be exact. My book doesn't say the original turtle rules were this or that or that they are this or that today -- it simply lays out the evidence and what happened through current day. Take it or leave it.
I realize how difficult it is to argue with someone not all there, but I will try! Some feedback from others about my book who may know something about the subject: "I did enjoy the book...I hope it's doing well for you." Original Turtle Tom Shanks "The book was wonderful..." Original Turtle Michael Shannon "Liked it. Congratulations on a job well done." Original Turtle Jeff Gordon "Book is very good...thank you for going for the truth and objectivity." Original Turtle Lucy Wyatt "Nice book." Original Turtle Russell Sands "All in all, not bad. I wish it had never been done and I wish I were not in it, but I know that you were definitely going to do it, so I figured I would try to get the truth out as much as possible. By and large, it worked that way." Original Turtle Jim DiMaria Not to mention the numerous other Turtles I have spoken with since the book has been released -- who praise it. Now if memory holds correct much of that criticism in ET was started and came from the Turtle whose firm imploded ending with the CFTC investigation. In hindsight there may have been reasons for his criticism. This was all discussed in my book too BTW. Bottom line, you are aware that there was more than one Turtle?
Funny you phrase it this way. A few months back a family member of one of my critics wrote me out of the blue. The message said in part: "That critic of yours, my sibling...has actually gone crazy and is receiving treatment." In terms of TraderZones, while I have called him crazy (a fair label), I have no knowledge or evidence that he is seeking treatment like the other critic. Sometimes people are just nuts, but they don't need to be institutionalized. Anthony, forgot, can you send me a pre-release of your book? I would like to take a look. The address on my website is best to use.
Neither does your constant and continuous shorting new tops in a strong up swing in the market. If you were a pro baseball player, your constantly shooting for home runs would have you delegated to water boy in a "B" leagues. I know your own calls have you frustrated but don't come in this conversation and try to pick an argument with me. I offered to send you the documentation, my book, a few days ago once the graphics were updated. Now you can take that offer and shove it. There just is no being nice to you. You are truly an arrogant a$$hole. I don't make calls here because, unlike you, I'm not trying to persuade anyone here of anything. I trade for myself and need to focus on my trades I take each day. How I trade is unique and because of that I prefer to profit consistently from a high percentage of those trades. I'm not addicted to trying to "hit a home run" from my trading decisions like you are.
