The review praises buy and hold along with mutual funds. I know you are looking for an angle to criticize, but you can do better than this can't you?

  3. I just bought this movie last week and watched it over the weekend.

As the movie points out, the movie is about hope and individual responsibility. But I have doubts that the people who need to see this movie actually will...or will do anything about their positions.

I wish they showed it at schools (I am a college student myself doing an honors project on behavioral finance, hence why i wanted to see the movie).

Interesting trading comparisons, and I liked the Las Vegas section because I had just been there this summer for the first time.

To be honest, could have done w/o some of the cartoons and liked the longer interviews/segments. I'll have to look at the full interviews

EliteTrader is one of many ways people find out about my books and film. Those are not free. I don't apologize for that.

You should also be thanked because every time you come on and say something that doesn't make much sense or make a patently crazy attack it causes other people to wonder what your fuss is all about. That's fine by me.

No, but if they were free, at least they would reflect their intrinsic value.

you are definitely in the "bottom 10%" of ET sponsors. Hopefully someday they will raise the standards and let you drop off the bottom.

You seem to not notice that you generate similar feeling in others, even just in this thread.

The numbers of units sold, along with positive reviews for years across the industry, put your view in the extreme minority. That said, I welcome your view. Why? Taleb recently said:

I agree 100%, but I would add that I want the criticism from the crazies too. They can’t be left out of the equation.

Anthony Garner thank you for your continued interest in my efforts. I hope your new book does well this fall. Perhaps you will write about your "joys and sorrows" and perhaps there is a market for that. I don't know about your idea, but best of luck as the marketplace will soon offer a judgment on your effort.

As I have stated numerous times I do trade my own account, but I am not a hedge fund manager and have no interest in doing so. I enjoy doing what I do -- passing along unique insights to others.

As you also know I have long been a risk-taking entrepreneur who has made monies in many different ways (no apologies either). In terms of my contribution to the trading community my two books and a film are not a small contribution. I understand that you have a pathological dislike of my contribution (a dislike that the market as a whole doesn't have), but changing your psyche is not my goal. Perhaps you should try harnessing your anger to a more useful end? I can't imagine your style of angry attacks will be useful for selling books!

In terms of calling people "crazy", I do so when it is richly deserved. There are a few people in a forum like this who are not all there. Calling those few out for what they are doesn't cause me much concern.
