Fidelity trade data

  1. I would appreciate any comments on the reliability of Fidelity trade data from active users.

It seems that you must download throughout the year since an annual download is not available. And if I am not mistaken, they are messing with the cost of the stocks for 30 days after a sale to adjust for wash sales.

So for example if I download on Friday night, and then rebuy a stock recently sold, on the following Wednesday, the cost basis at Fidelity changes retroactively, yet I've already finished my download last Friday!

Did I state Fidelity's policy correctly? Wouldn't that make Fidelity's data worthless? What am I missing here?
