Different, not better. We cater to the active traders with a choice of software and routing. Fidelity caters, like TD, to investors.

They have more than a few customer service reps and I probably just had bad luck with the people that I got. But I recommend to anyone that deals with them to get everything in writing. If I had an electronic copy of the dialog that I had with the careless customer service reps, I would have taken them to small claims court (they claimed that they would liquidate an account on a given date when they actually didn't).
