    Is anyone using this?

  2. FWIW, I closed out a rollover IRA I was trading actively at Fido three years ago because the connectivity was poor, the fills were slow and the slippage was terrible. Why anybody would use Fido is beyond me when there are so many other web brokers out there. Even Datek (now Ameritrade) was better. Best is IB. Near instantaneous fills, acceptable slippage, rare connectivity problems, no bookkeeping screwups. Just my opinion, earned the hard way by getting screwed and wising up.

  3. I started trading with them and stopped immediately when I realized their math for calculating real time profitability was wrong. Plenty of other things wrong with the platform but this one was unacceptable.

    IB is hard to beat.

    Still like to read their free Fidelity Select Portfolios;
    didnt care much for their slow fills,which isnt the main thing for swing or position trade.Also order entry awkward design, slow design.

    They also had gotten so oversize years ago like a dino;
    they had the nerve to send me , the customer, a WHINE letter noting an above average # of customer service calls. Flushed them years ago.

    They do have some very helpful people in customer service!!
