So is he going to stay on the job for more than a week this time... before taking another month off for depression?
They are talking about releasing him in two weeks but one would not go from the hospital straight back to work. He will be at home for a couple months at least- hopefully. He is actually probably going to die based on the game that is being played by his users. He has had a pacemaker put in because his heart condition from the stroke is now a mess. If he continues with the game and allows himself to be used like this, he is going to die. If he goes home, resigns, and takes care of himself he will probably recover. Which one will his handlers choose?
Clearly any rational person can see he is unable to do the job due to serious mental and physical health problems. Qualifications are irrelevant at this point, he is unable to do any job. The fact that he has not been removed and replaced, yet the state still functions, we can only conclude that other people have been running the day to day operations and have been since day one of the Fetterman administration, or the state of Pennsylvania doesn't need a governor at all. What it really shows is just how fucking pathetic our political system had become.
In my typing fury I lost all concept of titles. LOL. When I re-read that, too late to edit much to my chagrin, oops. The basic premise still stands, he is not capable due to his serious medical issues, and our system is pathetic.
Some truth to that but unlike governor an individual senator can take off all the time they want as the senate as an institution easily moves on without them.It does effect their party and the people of the state they represent but Fettermans condition was known when the party backed him and the people voted for him in the general election because even a Fetterman who has to take time away for health reasons is better than a healthy OZ imo. A bigger problem with the senate system is a state with 700,000 people has as much representation in the senate as a state with 40 million, the filibuster and a senate where a 50-50 senate can have one party representing 40 million more people than the other such as 2020-2022.
