Fence in the queers

  1. Does anyone here not believe that the vast majority of gays are born that way?

  2. It's irrelevant.

  3. It is irrelevant.

Secondly, remember back in the news not too long ago, the celebrity lezzie said "Gay is a choice"? The gay community told her in no uncertain terms to sit down and shut the fuck up.

  4. I don't believe that anyone is born gay. I believe sexual orientation is a conditioned response. Children know if they are boys or girls and they imitate the world around them when they see men married to women and women married to men. When you learn something at a young age, sometimes you think maybe you were born that way. Then some children have other things happen which creates their conditioned response. For instance...a boy might grow up without a father who he then craves male attention which turns him gay. Same thing with a woman...she might grow up without a mother and she then craves female attention. There could also be a traumatic event. A woman who is molested by men when she is young might turn into a lesbian later on because of negative feelings associated with her experience. There could be 100s of different reasons or triggers that could change a person from normal to not normal. Take for instance people who are sexually attracted to animals. Are they born that way? What about people that are sexually attracted to inanimate objects? Are they born that way? No, something happened to condition them to that way of thinking.

Not anyone? Strong statement. What about the guy whose orientation changed after a head injury? If that's possible due to changes in the functioning of the brain, then could we not attribute at least some homosexuality to brain structure?

  7. OK, as a departure from my solidarity to beat Obama, regardless. I have to say, didn't Phoenix say he was gay a while back. Did he choose to become gay, or did someone push him in that direction. From what I read, it's the same as being left or right handed. Like they say in golf, you have to play it where it lays, no moving the ball, no puns being asked for.

If there is a God, in the historical sense, with all the power and all, why would he allow gay people if it was really against all His teachings?

Marriage is just a legal contract, and has nothing to do with gay or straight. It is either good for everyone, or no one, and I really don't care which.

Aren't there more important issues, like getting Romney elected, than this?
