You know I could add much more to that (anecdotal evidence) but the point is, not everybody can be a professor longhair, sit around and study studies. People have to live and work, build a life in the real world and this is how their prejuidices are born, with their own eyes. Whether the results are based on misinformation or misinterpreting their own life experiences, it's real to them. whaddya going to do, call everyone ignorant except those who believe the studies? I grew up with large extended family of males, best friend had 6 brothers, I worked in male dominated profession for the early part of my life, everybody I knew and worked with liked pussy.
And my brother is the third son and is gay. He did not choose to be gay. You just have to trust me on that one. If you were to ask 100 gays probably 99 of them would say it was no choice. The studies do NOT say that every third or even every sixth son will be gay, only that the odds increase. Since being gay is a rare thing, a more likely to be born gay influence will still not make it probable. And yes, if after seeing the studies and the facts some people still choose to ignore them I would call those people ignorant. The worst kind of ignorant; willfully ignorant.
I've worked mostly among men and a few unattractive women for many years in my vocation as an engineer. Sure, I met women outside of work but most of my time was spent in workplaces devoid of women. I got used to it because, well, a man has to make a living. Even at the hedge funds and banks where I worked there was rarely any women around because I was in the back-office or development areas. I got used to it. Recently I was moved to the front office in preparation for my early retirement outprocessing and the place is packed with attractive women. Suddenly I'm getting provocative emails and party invitations and the occasional direct proposition and am realizing what I've missed all of these years. Everyday there is an element of predator/prey interaction that I've never really experienced before. Women in the office are an incredible delight, I simply had no idea how pleasant it was to work around them. Never let your sons become engineers lol. If I had to advise a young man on what vocation to pursue it would have to be doctor, lawyer or perhaps to obtain a degree in business. Stay away from engineering, manufacturing or industrial work. As you reach my age women are no longer just a distraction to be sought out near closing time. They are really what the whole thing is about. They are the point, the reason we earn money, the reason we shave in the morning, the reason we try to wear nice clothing and have a decent home. Homosexuality is a disease, a mental illness. The attempt to indoctrinate children at inappropriately young ages is vile and an indication of what is happening to western civilization. I don't care about what people do in the privacy of their homes but when they start trying to corrupt kids they've crossed a line.
-------------- A so-called "anti-gay" application in Apple's App Store is stirring debate online, but despite a petition signed by more than 100,000 people, Apple has given no indication that it will be removed. Released in mid-February by the Orlando, Fla.-based Christian group Exodus International, the free app provides video, podcasts, blog posts and other content that reflect the group's mission as a "refuge for people looking for help in their journey out of homosexuality." "Exodus is a Christian ministry that supports those wanting to reconcile their faith with their sexual behavior," the group says on its site, adding that it believes that changing homosexuality is possible because thousands of people in its network can attest to it. "We are reaching those with unwanted same sex attraction," ------------------------------------------------ Re; the petition They claim to offer 'freedom from homosexuality through the power of Jesus Christ' and use scare tactics, misinformation, stereotypes and distortions of LGBT life to recruit clients," the petition says. cont. on link... http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/anti-gay-app-sparks-petition-apple-remove/story?id=13193501
"They endorse the use of so-called 'reparative therapy' to 'change' the sexual orientation of their clients, despite the fact that this form of 'therapy' has been rejected by every major professional medical organization including the American Psychological Association, the American Medical Association, and the American Counseling Association.
And it took you how long to figure this out? Like I told the beta, engineers are the CNA's of your industry. You get all the shit work, do all the shit jobs. Im glad I figured this out before I turned 25.
