How do you feel market rhythms in front of the screen? I donot mean technical indicators, at least not those sophisticated ones. I know many floor traders see the motion of order runners as an indication. An trader wrote in a book (I cannot remember what title) that he listened to the sound of the mechanical quote system as indication of fast or slow trading activities. What do you feel as an off-floor trader? I know when the market is busy, my quote screen flashes like crazy. And when there is almost nothing going on, the screen flashes smoothly. But when I see and feel this, it is probably too late. Do you have any advance indicators? Thanks.
